From his perspective, it could easily be seen that you blew up his door. If you thought someone had tried to blow you up, would you kill them?

He broke 2.5 by killing you as you had nothing to do with it and you were unarmed.

Just because he "thought" it was him he had no right to kill him as he was unarmed and wasn't even sure if he killed the right person. Even if Hemulensis' actions were suspicious it doesn't justify patrxk's actions.
