Why were you punished?: violated a rule i was warned for before which is unjustifiably killing someone, and i THINK not valuing life, i am not entirely sure.
Why should this appeal be considered?: i think i wrote a well documented appeal on everything that has happened, and i do apologize for my actions, my ban will be lifted in a few hours, but i wanted to apologize and explain the situation, and explain why i did it from my perspective, and again i am sorry for any emotional frustration i caused for anyone.
Additional Information: so this ban is gonna end in less than 10 hours anyway, but i just wanted to write this ticket to sort of explain why i got banned more and further apologize for the situation.
now the first instance of RDM i committed was because there was this kid who was constantly harassing me calling me names and stuff like that, and this one time right next to storage he punched me, now i happen to have a bat on me so i caved his face in, apparently that's over escalation and counts as RDM, i didn't know that, i thought it would be alright to kill him as self defense but it wasn't.
the 2nd time is actually a time i deem more defendable, you gotta understand, depending on what "job" i am playing i have this... character for each job, road crew is overly friendly, PD is kind of this self righteous overly aggressive cop or what i call a "rockstar cop" sometimes, sometimes he is a "sorry cop" (peak if you get that reference), now.... as a criminal who grows weed, i play as this guy who has everything to gain and nothing to lose, because it usually means i am super low on money, and i went to the bank while i had a gun on my back to check for property, little did i know, that alerts the cops, at that time i had a shotgun that cost me 15k and 5 crowbars that cost me 7k, and i am not exactly the richest fellow on the server, and the cop was being overly aggressive, telling me to stop pointed a gun at me, another cop car came and blocked the front of my car, so at this point, i knew i only had 50k in my bank, i knew i can't afford to lose this shotgun and the crowbars so i went "SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT i am losing all of this aren't i" so in my head i had too much to lose, and it was defendable (in my head) so i pulled the gun out, the moment i did that the cops stopping me at the time should've instantly shot me down... they didn't so i got 2 of them and the 3rd one got me, now the reason for this ban is because i was at gunpoint and i didn't value life, I PERSONALLLY THINK and keyword PERSONALLY, think that sometimes when people are at gun point and they have too much to lose, being at gun point wouldn't matter, that's why i fought back, for example if i had 50k in my pocket and i was on my way to the atm, or if i had weed/ drugs/ JUST sold any drugs, i'd have a considerable amount of money in my pocket, so if someone tried mugging me? fuck that i'd run the fuck away or fight back, now does this count as not valuing my own life? yes, but when you have too much to lose i think it can be defendable, what do YOU think reader? do you think its sometimes ok to run away or defend yourself EVEN if you are at gunpoint if you simply have too much to lose? or do you think you should waste maybe HOURS of grinding money, just because you want to follow 1 rule.
now do i think i shouldn't have been banned? maybe, but i think rules are rules in an RP server, and they keep things fair, that's why i am writing this appeal to simply say i am sorry, i probably shouldn't have done it and those cops even if they were aggressive, were probably following protocol and were probably gonna tell me to store the gun anyways, i understand.
but, in case of a MUGGING, not a cop stopping me, if i have a CONSIDERABLE amount of money or drugs on me, i believe i will either fight back or run away.
again if it was not clear enough, i am truly sorry if i disturbed or annoyed anyone by killing them, i didn't mean to, in my head it was justifiable and that's why i did it, but just because I PERSONALLY justify it, doesn't mean i should do it.
also if an admin can reply to this ticket, and tell me if its justifiable to fight back in case of a mugging or run away if i have wayy too much to lose, please do that, and thank you.
