Why were you punished?: "3.4, 3.24 - User stalled/failed to immediately comply whilst under gunpoint. User also spoke out of character during the situation."
Why should this appeal be considered?: I would like to dispute this ban but I don't have a clip because I wasn't even online when I was banned.
This incident occurred on the ramp down to projex. The person in question ran up to my car and demanded that I get out. This was not within the rules as this was not a mugging area as designated on the mugging map. This did not occur on their private property either. Taken directly form the 5.1 rules: "for example mugging someone in the middle of a street is not realistic".
The person in question "Stewart Griffin" AKA Ikea, then proceeded to make a comment along the lines of "it makes no rp sense to be near the area of shooting with a gun" even though he would have had no idea I was armed, had he not broken the rules himself.
Furthermore, I had no idea how recent this shooting had occurred, I did not witness it or hear it. I simply rolled up on the scene and all was quiet.
I am well aware of 3.4 by now as I've been disciplined for it already. I would not willingly break this rule if the person holding me at gunpoint wasn't already breaking the rule themselves. I understand I have broken 3.24 by speaking out of character, but frankly, I think in this case that should have warranted a warning, not a ban.
