Why were you punished?: "3.4 - The user failed to comply with reasonable orders given whilst under gunpoint by an officer."
Why should this appeal be considered?: Good Evening,
I feel I was banned unfairly, and would like a reconsideration of my ban.
I feel this way because if you review the evidence I have provided it shows that the officer did not tell us to put our hands up immediately and when he began telling us to put our hands up is when my other two friends reached the top of the stairs and had begun pulling out a gun immediately. By the time the cop is done saying his sentence he is already facing opposition from my friend holding an ak at him.
As I have been informed by admins that one cop cannot put 4 people under gunpoint, and the second my friend had his gun out and challenged the officer, I no longer have to comply. Is this correct or I have been told incorrect information?
Reviewing the clip myself it appears there is one second between the cop saying “...hands up real quick” and my friend having him under gunpoint.
I did not pull out a weapon nor would I have walked away if my friend did not pull out his weapon and start shooting the cop, as you can see in the video I was actually getting closer to the cop with nothing in my hands and i was going to put my hands up for him but you can see when I notice my friend had a gun at the cop I backed up.
I received a 3 week ban for this and feel i did not break the rules, if I did break the rules please tell me how so I can make sure I am not doing this the next time I can play as I like to play this server and would like to be able to continue playing with my friends.
Additional Information: Please reconsider this ban as I play this server everyday with my IRL friends and would love to be able to play with them again. Additionally, I have read the rule book over the last week during my ban and feel I am ready to play the server fully within the rules.
This clip is from tommy costello's pov, he was recently unbanned for this situation, and for some reason, i was not.
