Why should this appeal be considered?: I am submitting this appeal because I recently came back to Garry's Mod after being away from the game for around five or six years. I was surprised to see that PERP was still active, so I decided to reconnect and try playing again. However, when I attempted to join the server, I discovered that my account had been permanently banned.
The part that confuses me is that the ban was issued in 2023, despite the fact that I had not been playing Garry's Mod or the server around that time. The last time I remember actively playing was in 2021, which is also when I received my previous ban. Since then, I have been away from the game entirely, so I genuinely do not understand how or why a ban was placed on my account in 2023.
If there is information or evidence regarding the reason for the ban, I would really appreciate the opportunity to see it, as I honestly have no recollection of doing anything that would have resulted in a ban during a period when I was not even playing.
I understand and respect that the staff have a responsibility to enforce the rules and keep the community fair. I'm simply asking for the chance to have this reviewed, as I believe there may have been a misunderstanding or some other issue that I am unaware of. I would really like the opportunity to return to the server and enjoy the community again, and I hope my appeal can be considered fairly. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal.
