Why were you punished?: I left while in cuffs in the back of a police car.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I had a genuine issue that i had to tend to IRL in the ooc chat i said that i need to leave and can yous hurry up they took that upon themselfs to delay my arrest after being notified. Additional Information: Im a genuine player that tries their best to not break the rules, i just feel in this case a ban was not warrented due to the circumstances while having no prior rule breaks for this offense.

You violated rule 3.20 by leaving whilst still in a roleplay situation. Even if you were in a rush, there were other measures you could have taken, such as making an F6 report detailing the reason you must leave as explained in rule 3.20.

3.20 Disconnecting from the Server​

You must not be unconscious, in active roleplay, or speaking to a staff member when disconnecting. You must wait until 10 minutes have passed since committing a crime, unless the crime has been resolved (you were charged or absolved). You are not allowed to disconnect to save items. If you have to disconnect during roleplay, you must make a report and provide a good reason.

In disputes, we look at the validity of the punishment and vote on whether it was valid or not. In this case, the ban is completely valid.
