Why should this appeal be considered?: This is based on my recent infraction and written warning received for 3.17, confiscation of 2 firearms during a Bank Raid. I believe my actions were justified given the situation. I was the only officer left on scene as a Bank Robber with an AS50 was staying in vents not moving and holding to give time for their accomplices to escape (or so I thought). After the only other Patrol Officer on scene with me died after peeking vents, I radioed in several times to ask if there was any other officers on scene or if there were any additionals responding. Only response I got that I was probably the only officer left on scene.
As I knew it was suicide to peek vents my best thing I could do was to hold the vent with a passive angle. In order to do this as safe as possible I had to get rid of the two firearms behind me on the staircase of the two suspects I shot dead earlier on, after pushing inside bank. As I was safe to do so and wouldn't want anyone running inside bank while I am unable to properly watch over the unprotected firearms, with also what I thought was no reason for the bank robbers to push out, I confiscated the two firearms, upon doing so I returned to my passive position in order to hold vents, in hope that other additionals were late to arrive on scene, to my surprise, while I was taking my passive position, a Bank Robber was pushing out of vents, and after shooting them 3 times, I ended up dying. They pushed out in order to retrieve their friends weapons in which I confiscated.
I did not expect this at all.
This subsequently led to me getting banned for 3.17 despite 3.17 not clarifying anything about firearms being outside of public view and I did not want any tampering by civilians while I was occupied with holding an angle on vents which could lead to myself being killed, which I did not expect myself to die in this situation as I expected the bank raiders to have left.
I wish to apply for RTFO as I do believe I have the knowledge and experience in order to do so, I would hate for something like this to prevent me from doing so as I have studied and waited for ages for the opportunity. Thank you.
Additional Information: This is an "old" ban and are disputing due to the written warning given on my PLPD profile. Juju had written a completely different ban reason down once banning me stating that I confiscated firearms while it was unsafe to do so, then after I request for it to be changed, kept writing it down in a way that puts me in the darkest light possible.
Juju and The Peak were also "Investigating" our organisation over someone apparently ban evading on an alt account which we knew nothing of and had no suspicion on anyone prior to this, both have been demoted due to probably unrelated reasons, which only makes me question if this ban was even plausible in the first place.
It seems highly biased and unjustified, even though I felt this way in the moment also, I did not give Juju a hard time over it other than requesting for my ban reason to be fixed.
Jujus reasons for banning me while speaking via the F6 didn't seem solid, as it changed a few times and just came down to "Confiscating weapons out of public view" which we all know doesn't mean shit when sweaters run to the nearest gun fire to try and grab guns lmfao
(I'm not sure how the demo upload stuff works but I uploaded a demo to the server which Juju watched)
I would also like to state, Juju was very aggressive to begin with in the F6 just like how they had taken one of our org members in a sit to try and scare them. Literally spoke to me in the exact same manner over gun confiscation. I can provide a clip of this privately.
