Why were you punished?: 3.4 - After getting involved with a PD raid and receiving free passage, the user waited until the very last second until they were just about to leave PD, then decided to attempt to kill cops, there was way no of this succeeding and resulted in their instant death
Why should this appeal be considered?: I didnt plan on disputing this ban however after speaking with friends, I think its worth a shot as even if the outcome is that the ban was valid and my actions where 3.4 its something that needs to be discussed and the playerbase needs to be aware as this exact thing happens on a daily basis and I seem to be the first person to get any sort of action against me for it.
Kerzify banned me for 2 days for "3.4 - After getting involved with a PD raid and receiving free passage, the user waited until the very last second until they were just about to leave PD, then decided to attempt to kill cops, there was way no of this succeeding and resulted in their instant death"
Rule 3.4 states
Valid reasons to kill Police include:
Avoiding a long prison sentence, typically 7+ years
Stopping them from seeing drugs being made
Committing a violent crime for which the Police would use lethal force to catch you.
We broke into the PD and even though the process went rather smoothly, I ended up shooting 3 TFU at the door of PD after we where granted "Free passage" I did this because during the moment I thought I seen the light TFU near the back at the tree rearing up for a clean shot on Kerzify himself on my right as his friends where in the car, as much as PD players are going to hate me saying this it is completely and utterly irrelevant that they granted us free passage, and said they are not going to shoot us as even though to my understanding by policy they are not allowed to lie by rules policy is not enforced by rules so therefor I cannot take the word of the officers 100% as the grand majority of Hostage situations end up in shootouts regardless . I believe I acted completely fairly and proportionately to the situation, as these things can escalate within a fraction of a second I took the first shot to ensure safety of myself and the people around me thats why I didnt just shoot any random officers, I shot the 3 TFU with rifles who could disable the Tesla the fastest in hopes the people in the car would just drive off and seize the opportunity while I run off and try to escape down by RC-area ish or the small park behind PD down to slums.
Recent great example of PD breaking Policy during hostage situation (below) and getting the hostage + all of us killed, this is the main point of my argument Policy is not enforced by the rules and therefor it is completely irrelevant that we had the belief we would have free passage as every crim player knows the second we wouldve gotten in that car or the others did and drive off, I wouldve been followed, shot, or they wouldve attempted to gunpoint me which wouldve resulted in a shootout, they would shot the car or literally every option. Was there a chance of them giving free passage and letting us off completely free? Sure, maybe they might of, but as per 3.4 we have all already commited crimes of 7+ years or more and Avoiding a long prison sentence, typically 7+ years Committing a violent crime for which the Police would use lethal force to catch you. are not violations of 3.4 which is EXACTLY what I done to ensure my own safety. I also would like to note I did not "die instantly". If the cops shot at us it would not be considerd 2.5 which is usually the inverse of 3.4, the ideology behind this rulebreak also insinuates that if your reasonably outnumbered and the odds are low its immediately 3.4 which means raiding solo against 3+ people is 3.4 let’s say you have a gun in passive and 10 people come to rob you, you’re going to shoot them even though you have no chance of winning.
