Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Medium
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 1 Week

Your Steam Name: piesangsaregood
Your Roleplay Name: abdul-haq jahari
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:687447323

Why were you punished?: 3.4 - User shot an officer when user had plenty of time to turn around and return to his base, instead the user decided to jiggle peek the officer and then shoot them as soon as he walked towards them, the officer had no weapon out and they also had no idea user was there until user shot at them, this caused a massive shootout that could've easily been avoided by simply turning around.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I had been warranted for a very long time and had not 1, but 2 seargents call out me basing in slums. One saying it is either 4 or 5 and one watching me run into slums staircase. the second cop ended up parking outside slums for several minutes after following me into the parking lot and asking me why I was driving so nervously. I then run down exterior , clearing out the spot that the cop had been camping and spot a supervisor car parked in the parking lot. that supervisor instantly got out of his car after I saw him(we had clear view to see eachother) and begun approaching me. I decided not to run because It had already been called out several times that we were basing slums and the cop was initially walking inn my genneral direction after seeing me. It also looks like he had a gun in his hand while he was running. If u watch the clip frame by frame u will see that he instantly gets out my car upon me noticing him, and to my knowledge he noticed me too because he would be in 3rd person not hear any commotion outside so I have assumed he is there because he saw my car parked outside and the other cops called out my location as 2 different ones spotted me entering slums.This made me think he would chase me up the staircase in attempt to apprehend me or find my locationn to raid my property, forcing me to jiggle peak to confirm wether he is or not. Another thing that reinforced my idea of this is the fact that the cop just got out of a supervisor car and the both cops that watched me run into slums were supervisor.Keep in mind that I am on edge as a cop followed me into slums and asked me why I was so nervous and then decided to sit outside slums for a few mins, not to mention that I have 1k coke on me that I was attempting to sell as I had just made a gun order that I needed to sell drugs to pay for so even if he did not know that I was 10 , any attempt to detain me would have caused a shootout too.

This will be discussed with other member(s) of the staff team, I will come back here if any questions are necessary and / or when a decision is made.

Your POV summed up the situation really and demonstrated how 3.4 was violated in this scenario.

You had mentioned in this dispute the following; "I decided not to run because It had already been called out several times" whilst knowing this information, your immediate reaction should have been to relocate to a safer or hidden position, not somewhere you know you were going to be swarmed by officers, this is putting your life at risk.

You also mentioned within this dispute; "To my knowledge he noticed me too because he would be in 3rd person", using the POV that you have provided here, it is obvious to see that the officer in question displayed no sort of interest to you, they got out their vehicle whilst unarmed, looked at Slums and started slow walking towards you, with no urgency. You had more than enough time to at least attempt to run away and hide, rather than purposefully initiating combat, which didn't need to be initiated.

Confirming that you were actually warranted for the situation, it does not give yourself or any other players an excuse to initiate in PvP as soon as an officer notices you, there are procedures in place that are to be followed when situations like this occur, in this case;

- The officer had not taken sufficient notice in spotting you
- The officer was not armed
- The officer was not running towards you within an urgent matter

The 3.4 ban is deemed valid.
