Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @steelo
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 2 Weeks

Your Steam Name: IM NOT HACKING
Your Roleplay Name: mahat jodinas
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:1:205384609

Why were you punished?: 3.20, 3.22, 4.1 - As an Officer, the user was driving on the wrong side of the highway, resulting in a car accident which killed a civilian. The user then immediately disconnected.

Why should this appeal be considered?: As a police officer, I received a 911 call to Suburbs, as I was on the highway, I made a u-turn and quickly made my way towards suburbs to respond to the emergency. As I was driving, a black car appeared in front of me, I tried to swerve to the side to avoid hitting it but it ended in a collission. I called for paramedics and ran back to PD to take out a new car and continued on my way, as I returned, a red car ended up hitting me on the highway, totalling my car, to which I called it in and then was unable to take out a new car so I went with another officer, after a few minutes of no action, I have left the server.

Additional Information: I didn't leave the server right away like steelo is claiming, which can be proven by the logs I assume.

When making a dispute you must provide some type of evidence.

And you disconnected 22 seconds after disabling someone's car by shooting at it.

I am unable to provide any sort of evidence as I did not clip that since I did not believe I was making a mistake, I had a reason to drive on the wrong side of the highway as there was an emergency in suburbs.

As for the shooting, that's the red car I was referring to, which rammed my car, attempted to drive me over and escaped, I fired at the car as it drove towards me despite me warning and I called it in the radio. I do not believe that I disconnected only 22 seconds after it has occured as I went back to try and get a new car and then jumped into another officers car, which I'm pretty confident took longer than 22 seconds but you may be correct, I did disconnect shortly after calling it in but that is not the event the moderator has claimed I disconnected after. Those events occured quite a while after each other, so moderator steelo is either confused, mistaken or blatantly lying.

After re-reading the thread with @Collier you actually openly admit to driving on the wrong side of the highway:
I had a reason to drive on the wrong side of the highway as there was an emergency in suburbs.
An emergency response is not a valid reason to drive on the wrong side of the highway. Policy dictates you should not drive on the wrong side of the highway - ever - even when an evading vehicle is on the wrong side.

The logs also show that you disconnected with 8 HP 26 seconds after the crash.

Therefore the ban will remain and the requested demos are no longer required.
