Punishment Type: Ban
Punishment Subtype: Server Ban
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence]
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @teby
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: 2 Days

Your Steam Name: GraveDinosaur
Your Roleplay Name: John Ridle
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:47666087

Why were you punished?: 3.4 - The user broke into the PD whilst unarmed without a valid reason.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I had a valid reason. I just did not have the appropriate weapons for the break in. I ran out of the PD and was arrested. Before the arrest was completed, I was teleported away.

I have not been on the server for some time, and I regret that I did not believe what I was doing was a direct breach of Rule 3.4. I am aware now that it was a rule break, but I don't believe a two day ban is warranted, given that I have not received a warning for a long time.

Hello Mr Dinosaur, long time no see, hope you are well, if you are accepting the validity of the punishment then a dispute is not the appropriate way to appeal, consider an apology, or, if you want to dispute the length, a staff complaint.

As per Information - Appealing a Punishment:
You cannot dispute a punishment because you feel the length was unjust, this must be done via a staff complaint instead.
You are welcome to make a staff complaint if you feel that a 2-day ban was harsh given the circumstances and your record.

If you want the wording amended to reflect that the operative issue was you did so unarmed, and not that you did not have a valid reason, you are welcome to speak to @teby about this directly or raise it in a staff complaint if you choose to make one.
