Why were you punished?: 3.16 - Idling on the job.

Why should this appeal be considered?: I needed to answer the door and help get kid from car. Didn't have time to do anything like make an f6. I appreciate taking action to prevent people that actually idle for no reason, but I was genuinely in a rush to go do something. I don't care about the 3k i probably made while I was gone. I made an F6 and learned that in future, if i am in a rush, i should just quickly post something in OOC. I hope this appeal finds someone in a nice mood. Thank you in advance for the consideration of my appeal.

You admit in your dispute that you violated rule 3.16 by going AFK. Even if you were in a rush, there were other measures you could have taken, such as making an F6 report or even just reconnecting (while respecting rule 3.20, of course).

3.16 Going Idle (AFK)
You must not go AFK during roleplay or when speaking to a staff member, unless absolutely necessary. If you have to go, you must tell others involved in LOOC. If you are on a job, you should quit the job before going AFK. You must also inform a staff member in a report you are going AFK.

In disputes, we look at the validity of the punishment and vote on whether it was valid or not. In this case, the blacklist is completely valid. However, we would like to redirect you to the apologies section since it seems you are looking to have the punishment reviewed. Alternatively, you could also make a staff complaint if you feel like the punishment length is excessive.
