Suggestion Title: buff cars
Suggestion Description: Make vehicles drive faster and handle better, INCLUDING PD cars.

A basic idea is that cars probably should drive easily 30+ MPH faster than what they currently do.

Why should this be added?:
- make commuting around the map reasonable
- make tricks more accessible to people without hyper cars
- compensate players for the big increase in scale of V6 compared to V5.
- Saves time travelling
- Makes chases more enjoyable
- Makes cars more viable in combat versus being moving caskets
- Closer speeds to the real life speed of vehicles.
- Remove this weird thing where it takes a hyper car or a sports car with multiple engine upgrades to even scrape 100 MPH mark.
- gives Roadcrew more to do and talk about
- Gives RTU more to do and talk about
- Controlling the car better on winding roads

What negatives could this have?:
- car crashes may happen more often
- may take some time fine tuning all the cars
- May cause imbalance if done incorrectly

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Cars drive far too slow now.

Maybe back in Paralake V5 it was okay given the smaller scale of the map.

Fortunately, Now we have so much more tricks, jumps, buildings and space to drive with in terms of scale.

The whole point of it taking you longer to get to places is so the map feels bigger, while remaining the same size...

The car speeds are perfectly fine. This would just resort into an insane amount of crashes as people already barely know how to control their car and think they need to be doing 100% of their car's capability in the city.

the problem with both arguments is the following

1) certain cars are so severely inferior that most players don’t bother buying them. Instead, opting to save up for a meta hyper cars.

This is clearly a problem for those of us who enjoy the aesthetic but can’t help but suffer the mediocrity of many iconic cars primlocked at less than 80 MPH even after engine upgrades. Let alone that their handling is painfully bad.

2) this idea calls for better handling, which if the concern was the amount of crashes, then a healthily balanced improvement of handling alongside speed should not be a problem as more cars (not hyper cars) are made to feel more controllable as well as more pleasing to drive.

I'd suggest in that case to make a list of a set of cars that are too slow now and could do with a slight modification; If you don't have the car theres probably a few people you can come across that do that you can ask keys to for a quick test drive.

Most of the slower cars do drive better where there is less grip loss (aside from the occasional map collision where the car gets stuck for a second e.g. Regals -> Office slope at the top, even though lately this feels more smooth)
They did some tuning to the Box Ambulance I believe as it now feels like it can nearly turn sharper then the Three-wheeler bicycle.

"certain cars are so severely inferior that most players don’t bother buying them. Instead, opting to save up for a meta hyper cars." This is so true, you only see the same 15 cars drive around, all in pretty much the same color, with pretty much same looking people inside.

No.... just no... A slight buff to RTU vehicles would be reasonable, but for the most part having vehicles that exceed double the highway speed limit would just cause so many problems. Any cars that are 900k+ can outrun Police Vehicles if you're skilled and knowledgeable enough. Not to mention that turns etc are hard to manage for most players as it is. Most people can't even drive. Adding extra speed to this just sounds like a catalyst for more unintentional incidents.

Instead of an overall buff, how about allowing more than 2 upgrades (though they'd be ridiculously expensive). Good money sink, allows all vehicles to be fast... for a price.

I think a 3rd upgrade that focuses on mainly accel and maybe 5mph tops max speed would be reasonable for like a 2/3mill price tag

Nah, I'd say this be bad, as then PD cars need to get buffed again in order to catch up, lets be real most crims will have the money to upgrade their car.

Best is to make a list of Low & Mid cars that deserve a slight buff, thats more reasonable then giving all cars another upgrade.

The problem with this logic is that if most players don’t bother buying these sports cars and just opt to save up for a hyper car, which is what happens, this negates your point.

1) Why would the average person pay the price of 140 MPH Audi R8 Plus in upgrades and stock payment for something like a MAZDA RX-7. They won’t, they’ll continue to just save up and buy a hyper car. Furthermore, this buff improves handling in a balanced way which makes it easier to control so crashes aren’t a concern.

2) Cops have RTU and they have numbers. Even with a HyperCar that goes 140 MPH, it’s balanced. If after all that, the next argument is cop cars should be faster, that’s wrong because it removes the only counter play criminals have to police chases and would just be begging for crimes to resort to shooting more.
