Server Suggestion Buff Cars

Suggestion Title: buff cars
Suggestion Description: Make vehicles drive faster and handle better, INCLUDING PD cars.

A basic idea is that cars probably should drive easily 30+ MPH faster than what they currently do.

Why should this be added?:
- make commuting around the map reasonable
- make tricks more accessible to people without hyper cars
- compensate players for the big increase in scale of V6 compared to V5.
- Saves time travelling
- Makes chases more enjoyable
- Makes cars more viable in combat versus being moving caskets
- Closer speeds to the real life speed of vehicles.
- Remove this weird thing where it takes a hyper car or a sports car with multiple engine upgrades to even scrape 100 MPH mark.
- gives Roadcrew more to do and talk about
- Gives RTU more to do and talk about
- Controlling the car better on winding roads

What negatives could this have?:
- car crashes may happen more often
- may take some time fine tuning all the cars
- May cause imbalance if done incorrectly

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Cars drive far too slow now.

Maybe back in Paralake V5 it was okay given the smaller scale of the map.

Fortunately, Now we have so much more tricks, jumps, buildings and space to drive with in terms of scale.

my car gets stolen and tiered enough, i dont need any of them having a slight boost as it will cause them too get tiered even more, by my shit driving or anyone elses
 
Big no from me. It is already tiring enough being called every slur in the book by a guy flying into me because he is driving 75 in a 30 zone.

Would be more supportive if driving like a idiot became a serious ban able offense, but then again this would probably get at least 1/3 of the player base banned because by God does Perpheads players drive like shit.
The problem with this is that power growing makes such easy and fast money that there is frankly no reason to buy a lesser car but instead just save up to buy a hyper car. This is what most of the player base does, including new players, and this is part of what this discussion is aiming to fix.

Please let me know what you think but I feel like your point doesn’t really relate / tie in to the point we’re at in this discussion given how it’s progressed with the input thus far.

I understand why you feel that way and where you’re coming from.

I think likely Whether the car you tier with is a sports car, a mini cooper or a Tesla is not decided by the mechanic.

the majority of players will continue to save up and buy hyper cars, never minding the inferior sports cars that max out at sub 80 MPH.

Another part of what this hopes to achieve is diversifying the selection of cars by remedying the current mediocracy that comes with buying sports cars, or any lesser than a meta hyper car.

Most just choose to continue saving up then drive the meta hyper cars, leading to the majority of the cars you see on the road being like a handful of 10, while the paralake car club catalogue has probably 50, if not more unique selections that aren’t “meta,”

Why would people bother with anything other than when even sports cars like the RX7, EVO X, Supra, WRX and more all get dusted after all their upgrades by a simple patrol cruiser, let alone RTU.

Unfortunately this leads to them being sadly left behind or leading to players who wish to drive a non-hyper car they like to be forced to just give in to buying a hyper car.
