Can't join server

i joined the server before and it was fine I dissconnected and it says connection failed after 4 retries

Hmm, Might be the server down make sure to check if it is online, currently it is not online offline.

It's online has people on but when I join when downloading packs it gets to downloading foods/slurp.wav or something then as soo as it gets to that it closes my gmod help me please I need help

I got this long time ago, all I did was reinstalling my gmod, however I got it back in my DarkRP days

This was the reason i had been Inactive for a really long time.. there was something i had to write in console but i dont really remember what it was, I guess you just have to wait or just Reinstall garrys mod/Steam or just try to find help on youtube. I think that is the only thing you can do :/

If you have problem with foods/slurp.wav or any file that is loading while you're loading in, And you have the full content installed with map, Go to Options, Multiplayer and make sure It says "Do not download any custom files"
And reconnect.
