Only justifiable time to take a warm shower is before bed. In the morning, a warm shower will make you sleepier. Cold will wake you up

Cold showers are the best in the morning, I have one every day to wake me up before work. Gets the blood flowing and your brain awake without caffeine. Best when you've been out in the 40-45 degree Dubai heat and then straight into a 10-15 degrees shower.
