Player Showcase
Recognising Players for Roleplay, Creativity or Helpfulness
Welcome to the Community Spotlight. The player showcase portion of the Community Spotlight is designed to showcase players, staff and developers have made our community great this month. Any players featured have been noticed by Community Management for good roleplay, creativity or helpfulness. Anybody that is featured in this section are awarded the Community Spotlight trophy on their forum profile in recognition.
| Troll Bridge Bar Created by @Coomstains Located under the city bridge in the business sector, this bar was made with a walkway accessible to pedestrians, parking spaces and all done in just 82 props. A very unique location for such a build so it is more than welcome in this months spotlight. |
| Jones LLC x Helga's Angels Gun Club Created by @213 A build nominated in our discord this features great use of signs to create a DJ booth. The creator would like to shout out Helga, Lindsey Quick and Johnny Ficklestein for taking part in the build. |
| PLPD Reskin Pack Created by @Havi A police vehicle reskin back created by Havi has gained some attention on the discord and forums this month, Havi has single handedly created skins for every police vehicle currently featured on the server and made this available to download for anybody for free. |
| Pumpkin Bench Created by @Coomstains Another feature here for the same user, weird build in bazaar but something a bit different so worth a feature. I would imagine it would have given new players on their first playthrough of our server something to talk about. |
| Asia Bistro Created by @jozko007371 This build received some attention in our discord server for the passive use of the business store reminding players that this is a roleplay server. A few compliments were left for this store so it is deserving of a feature in our spotlight. |

| New Server Host 18th July 2024 We have migrated to a new server host to hopefully mitigate some of the stability issues we've been having. The IP address has changed, the new IP is 208.103.169.211 or you can use gmod.perpheads.com to connect. Please update your favorites to include the new IP address. Joining the old IP will redirect you to the new server. |
| Paralake V6 Announcement 4th July 2024 We released a teaser trailer for V6 this month. Some things worthy of note for V6: -The entirety of the map has been overhauled, meaning that, few locations are the same as previous versions. -Most textures have been remade from scratch; no more ugly HL2/gmod textures! -Most of the primary buildings such as Bank, Hungries, Business Shops and Apartments have been remodelled. And more! There's a lot we don't want to spoil, so we'll try to keep it reasonable for now. Consider becoming a booster on Discord for future Development updates. |

| Rule Changes and 3.4 Poll 28th July 2024 After the most recent admin meeting and some rule suggestions, we have decided to update our rules. The below post will outline all of these changes, but before that, we would like your input on how you feel we should handle 3.4 situations involving players who already have guns in passive stance should react to muggers gunpointing them. To gather your input, we have created a poll. |
