Fully update and fix the current broken car and car repair system
Currently, your car being broken is just a mess, there's essentialy 3 different ways for your car to be broken currently and all with their own bugs. Let's go over all 3:
- Engine damage
- Car has trouble starting it's engine
- Fixable by roadcrew only
- If the engine is broken, you can't respawn your car (???)
- Costs $500 for human roadcrew repair, and over 5k for the NPC at roadcrew station (???)
- Can't be fixed with a wrench (???) - Exterior damage
- Car goes slower because of engine damage (???)
- Wheels do weird movements
- Sometimes the tires can be deflated
- Costs a damn lot of money to fix
- Scratches all over car - Dirty exterior
- Doesn't cost a lot
- Dirt spots on car
- Must be non-existent in order to tune the car (???)

I would like to keep the 3 different ways of your car being broken, but the effects of them should be changed.
- Engine damage
- Fixable by roadcrew only
- Costs $500 from human roadcrew, and $500 (+ sale tax) by NPC roadcrew
- Allow respawning of your car, so you can fix it with a wrench when you for example drive it into the lake
- Allow it to be fixed with a wrench, so when there's no roadcrew, you can at least drive it there
- The more broken your engine is, the slower it goes
- The more broken your engine is, the more fuel your car consumes - Exterior damage
- Fixable by the NPC at Bazaar Gas Station
- Cost in line with the price of your car
- Don't slow down your car because of engine damage, because that's an entirely different thing
- Decrease the handling because of the wheels being weird (in line with the speed)
- Decrease the braking sensitivity, or make it so that it doesn't brake smooth anymore
- Allow headlights and indicators to be broken - Dirty exterior
- Costs $150 dollars to fix
- Fix it at the car wash
- Do not require your car to be clean to tune it
- Make the dirt marks brown, and actually show over the paint job
- Make dirt spots on the windows, so when driving first person, it blocks the view when too dirty
- Increase the dirt when driving in mud (farm etc)
Pros:
- The prices being right will stop people from driving around in broken cars because of the ridiculously high roadcrew fixing price
- You can actually fix your car now
- Engine damage will have more effect than just trouble starting it
- The exterior damage will be exterior damage, and have no effect on things it should not have effect on (car speed)
- The car wash will be useful now
- The dirty car could help with "suspect last seen heading to Hicktown" roleplay, because they can look for dirty cars
- I don't see any cons, just that it might be a lot of work to code, like every suggestion
