So the idea of excessive negativity is designed to help preserve some aspects of a players experience. This rule comes in very useful during raids and shootouts by preventing unnecessary damage of property, vehicles and deaths.
I propose an addition to this rule, in which it states 'a user may not intentionally disrupt passive roleplay through violent means'.
I always try to do passive RP on the server, as do a handful of others. It adds character, creates many funny moments (People still say PLIP to me and that was over 5 years ago) as well as proving something different to the cops vs robbers. However, in a vast majority of these cases people use the congregation of civilians as a perfect excuse to mug or even raid said area/business. Examples include people trying to mug us as we held a wedding in the church, the office being raided when we made a BBC and the farm being torched when we tried to make a farmers union.
These actions often discourage future passive rp by a few greedy people looking to go mugging. Its worth mentioning that during most passive RP, the majority of people are unarmed and not carrying valuables anyway.
Now I know what you're saying, what if someone is being chased by a rival org or hunted and decides to go join a passive rp and thus be protected by the new rule. Well, I think this rule, whilst as a base should forbid raids/muggins at passive rp locations/events, it should also be down to a moderator to decide whether any intentional violence caused there was proportionate or justifiable.
I would also suggest that if this is added, a description be added forbidding passive rp establishments of growing drugs.
