Explosives info?

I searched for this, but I couldn't find anything. I've also asked a lot if times in-game. No answers.
1: Are the explosives just like the TTT C4? (Timed, beeping sound, defusable)
2: Is it easy to defuse explosives?
3: If defused, do they disapear or go back to your inventory?

1(2)(3). They do beep and are timed, but you can't time it yourself nor defuse it.

4.But how long time do they take to blow? 5.Is the only way to avoid them running away? 6.How big is the explosion? Big enough to kill everyone in a Subs house? A whole apartement building?
7.Does the explosion destroy cars?
