Suggestion Title: Food expansion
Suggestion Description: Currently, the food system in PERP feels quite basic and underdeveloped, limiting both player interaction and roleplay opportunities. I believe a major overhaul or expansion of the food and cooking mechanics could greatly enhance immersion and create new avenues for roleplay. The idea is to introduce a wider variety of ingredients and craftable food items. Players would be able to purchase new ingredients (such as Graham Crackers, Sugar, Cream Cheese, Chocolate, etc.) and use them to cook or bake more complex dishes. For example, Cheesecake could be crafted using 4x Milk and the new ingredient: Graham Crackers. This update would open the door to entire new business types—such as bakeries, cafés, and diners—where players can either craft and sell their own creations or purchase ready-made meals. It would enrich the economy, provide more diverse player jobs, and lead to organic roleplay situations that don’t rely on conflict.
Why should this be added?:
* Promote more peaceful, social roleplay
* Provide new economic and entrepreneurial opportunities
* Expand crafting in a meaningful and fun way
What negatives could this have?:
- Dev time
- New tinycalc tweaks/mixture tables and more
What problem would this suggestion solve?: Boring food
