For applicants:
- If you wish to succeed in becoming a staff member, ensure you meet the requirements and guidelines for the role.
- The helper role isn't subject to the same activity standards that other staff ranks are, you're essentially a passive support-based staff member.
- Despite not having all privileges or quotas that other staff members have, you are still going to be a staff member and must be prepared to act like one.
- You may reside as a Helper if you do not wish to take on responsibilities in our staff team.
- Unsuccessful applicants can request feedback by sending a private message to the person who rejects to their application.
It is vital that you read over the information provided in the relevant applications section.
Everyone else:
We of course love to hear the community's feedback when it comes to future Helpers or Enforcers, we do read these replies when considering applications, however we must ensure that everybody gets a fair and respectful chance to apply. Please keep in mind the following information and of course the forum rules when providing feedback to applications.
Please ensure that you follow the following 'ROTA' rules when replying to Helper of Enforcer applications:
- Respectful - be nice, e.g. no unnecessary aggressive tone.
- Original - don't leave your reply as "I agree with x/y/z" - that's what the rating system is for.
- Truthful - you can make relevant accusations, but evidence must always be included.
- Advice - ultimately, for your reply to be constructive, you should suggest what steps the candidate takes to improve their prospects.
You may be issued with a warning for rule 2.4 - Constructive Supports for failing to cooperate with these sectional rules.
