GAME FREEZES

Basically this has been going on for about a week now, my game constantly has small freezes and its especially when driving around in my car, smaller freezes tend to happen regularly, here's some examples of lags: (I'll put more if needed)

GPU: GeForce GTX 1070
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz quad
16 GB RAM

Usually the game freezes because of your PC loading assets very quickly to compensate for running through area portals very, very quickly. All of slums apartments, regals, projex, glass .co, parker and more buildings have these. Noticed how your game sometimes freezes up for just a split second as you enter or leave an apartment? That's the area portal loading up assets from out of your view.

used to happen to me aswell, tried everything but it was just perp causing it.

This wasn't exactly fps lag but more of an input lag issue, my keyboard stopped working here due to some sort of magical shit lmao.
I upgraded my car 2 minutes before I crashed it too, so that was fun.

Oh, and I just fixed this by simply reinstalling gmod, I put it on my ssd instead of my hdd aswell
