Gmod Crashing

Hi guys, im having some issues with gmod atm.

before you start saying get a new pc etc. my computer is relativley new and not a potato, it always used to run gmod fine with no issues.

however now every 2-4 hours my game crashes.

My screen freezes, goes black then puts me on the desktop, gmod stays running but i cannot open it.

Its only gmod, i can run DayZ/Arma/GTA etc. all fine and no issues.

I have reinstalled steam etc.

I need yo help
