Gun Jamming???

This used to happen when the reload animation was interrupted before loading the gun properly IIRC.

It happens if you cancel the reload animation, as you said you bandaged.

This is common and has been a thing for years, can close this!

This happens when you empty a magazine, reload, then interrupt the animation before racking the bolt back to open the chamber to allow another bullet to feed into it. The magazine will still have been placed in the mag well properly, but will not feed another round into the chamber

I assume so, not racking the bolt back after reloading a magazine would have the same effect in real life. One could argue it would be better if you weren't able to stop the animation until it is fully completed, but this is probably something for a suggestion

@Collier what a could feature it would be that guns actually jam and if you press a button you rack the bolt to unjam it or in this case to feed another bullet into the chamber
