Suggestion Title: Loudhailer
Suggestion Description: Give Senior Officers and above a new equippable SWEP called the Loudhailer, which allows the user to project their voice a long distance.

It would have to be in hand to be used, and when turned on, it would project the users voice, along with a reverb effect of some kind, a long distance (close to render distance ideally)

It would be limited to senior officers and above to kerb misuse, and be subject to a policy which would prohibit it from being used without good cause.

Why should this be added?:
To help police announce entry to a building, clear an area, call out to a potentially hostile property or vehicle from distance and behind cover, etc.
It would make hostage situations and sieges more interesting, and allow police to better communicate with a crowd or mob and control a scene.

What negatives could this have?:
Misuse and mingery annoying the fuck out everyone. This would be mitigated by having policies governing it's use, and only awarding it to senior officers or higher, however if it becomes a concern, it could be bumped up to Corporal, as they are often pressed into the role of scene commanders and co-ordinators when supervisors are unavailable.
Development headaches, though I can't see why this wouldn't be possible, as radios and phones can transmit VOIP with no issue.

What problem would this suggestion solve?: [Yell] PLPD ENTERING HANDS UP PANTS DOWN!!!!
Cops having to run from cover to instruct morons not to walk into active warzones.

One thing I'd really like actually, would be to give it a direction. Have it so if you're outside of regular talking distance, but behind say, a 120 degree cone from the direction of the user, you can't hear it, or it's very quiet.

First day of this in the server and I will definitely hear someone play Fetty Wap on it.

I love it but please let the consequences of abusing it come with a serious punishment as you suggested.

Another alterative, make it like the taser SO+ can apply and you must pass a similar application like the taser.
I can't see that being anything more than a pointless certification tbf.
Practicals would make no sense, and without that, it's basically a glorified buzzfeed quiz, and the answers will be obvious to all. I feel like having it be for SO and above is fine, but on the flip side, we do need more reasons for people to become Corporal, as the rank is pretty useless right now.

Fair, I just want some useful item that isn't immediately made CPL+ . The only way I see it working for SO is extremely strict policies, which will be too strict, people will complain, and then they will just not use it as it more of a risk to use it than just using /y.

Absolutely not. It should be a limited tool, so you don't have too many people using and misusing it. Most SOs can't be trusted with running a room temperature bath, let alone with any tools where you can annoy a lot of players at once.

I do like the idea, but it would definitely need some voice processing or some system, so people don't think you are in their walls.
