Suggestion Title: make people die when shot through the glass of the car
Suggestion Description: make people die when shot through the glass of the car and when sitting on chairs

Why should this be added?:
- realistic
when you are pd you need to shoot the car tons of times before the car gets fucked with this you only had to shoot a few times and ppl that do shit then sit on chairs so dont get killed

What negatives could this have?:
- afk ppl sitting on chairs/cars get shot

What problem would this suggestion solve?: ppl that doing shit (like killing someone) then sit on chairs so dont get killed

I think this would be great, but I am fairly confident that gmod limitations would make it impossible to implement. May be wrong, though.

stuff like this been denied many times i believe cuz of gmod limitations, But you can still kill eject people in cars. Just shoot the car constantly till they die

generally the car takes all the damage, then the damage is transferred to the player. With the right weapons, this is achieved quite quickly

Yeah, that's a good idea, but I already feel like it's quick to kill someone in a car if you have a rifle.

Chairs thing yeah sure, but I like our current system for damaging players in cars. As others have said it’s relatively fast enough and you have to see who is sitting where to know where to shoot when they get forced out, making it a touch more realistic. Honestly, I feel like currently there’s the small trade off of a less realistic system but is very reliable vs this suggestion which might introduce unexpected consequences to what we might more typically expect.

Though I do agree, walking up to a car and executing someone unexpectedly with a single shot does sound cool, in comparison to making a huge scene by unloading a whole mag. Maybe vehicles that are off could have the players take damage directly?
Ehh but then u have 2 differing systems and then it just becomes a shitshow when someone makes a report bc someone turns their car on to avoid being one shot

Suggestion Title: Make cars penetratable
Suggestion Description: Instead of cars being bullet sponges and basically armour for anyone whos in them, you can headtap someone out of the car or be able to shoot through the car doors/windshield

Why should this be added?:
- People can no longer use cars as shield, removes any amount of "window banging" as players cant use the interior of their car as a bullet sponge (the process of sitting inside of your car and talking shit to other people)

What negatives could this have?:
- Players might accidently aim to kill...

Suggestion Title: Shooting trough a car window
Suggestion Description: Being able to shoot/kill people inside a car trough the window maybe do a small amount of damage trough the door of the car and i mean from outside to inside to from inside to outside maybe make an upgrade for some cars to get bullet proof windows that can take from 3-5 bullets max shooting the window should not damage the cars engine

ONLY FROM OUTSIDE TO INSIDE “i dident have enough to put this in title”

Why should this be added?:
- way more realistic, being able to kill the driver in somthing...

If you disable a person's vehicle and continue shooting at their car, you will cause damage to the player and it is possible to kill them. If you need proof, me and a few friends tried to mug a guy (Who ignored GP), so we shot his car, disabled it, and killed him by shooting at his car. If you want proof from one of the people, I can tag @Youseff Alardin here.
With chairs, it's horrible. We can't help that, it simply isnt possible to shoot people who are sitting down, since Source Engine is rubbish. Just make a /report the next time someone does this, and an admin should sort it...
