Making animation/machinima in GMod

Anyone have any tips for putting together scenes or video kinda things in gmod? I know the basics of animation (like keyframes and bone positions), but I'm not good at it, or I'd be able to make things in proper animation software. I also can't draw >.<

But I would like to try to put things together, like short skits or recreations of things I have clipped from PERP! Just a way to creatively express myself, haha.
Any good/must have addons?

what i did when i made my little robbery one was positioning npcs and taking a screenshot, making it kinda stop motion. takes fucking years tho
