getting mugged and raided is apart of the game, i got mugged and raided as a new player and i stayed
Getting mugged and raided is an excessively negative experience after which not all people will stay. When I was first a new player, I got raided and treated horribly. It made me leave the community for a year before I started actually taking the game seriously.
Yes, its a part of the game, but its a part of the game that shouldn't happen until you have at least a bit of experience so you can get familiar with things, so you don't get raided by an org with 5 riflemen. The tag is so you can get treated differently in a way that lets you learn through getting tips and mercy from players that have already played a while without you having left all your money on your person while in a mugging zone and getting everything you own taken away. So as a new EMS, Roadcrew or Firefighter I'd know to help, guide and lead by example instead of reprimand for incompetence you couldn't have yet known to do better on.
And also, "its not realistic" isn't an argument when a lot of things in game aren't realistic. Cars don't just disappear IRL, cop numbers aren't limited to 20 people when someone dies, gun pointing isn't realistic because who after murdering someone wouldn't try to shoot at cops even with a gun pointed at them?
There's a lot of things that speak for treating new players better in certain situations, and that's for a reason.
