Preface
Welcome to the June 2022 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. Any additions to the newsletter, please contact Public Relations via helpdesk.
Message from the Chief
“During the month of June, we have launched recruitment for multiple Command positions, such as Junior Command for Patrol/Traffic and a Lieutenant opening for Tactical Firearms Command. We are happy to be actively recruiting more command members as it gives more people the opportunity to demonstrate their skills within the Department.
In addition to our command openings, Head of Public Relations Mallard has launched the next iteration of the Department Satisfaction Survey. We would love to see a lot of you responding to this, as it allows us to put measures in place to improve the Department as a whole. We can only make positive change with constructive criticism from others. As part of this survey, there will be a section regarding Pan PLPD. Chief of Department Acer and I have promised you all that we would host one, but due to other commitments and priorities, this has not been feasible. If you believe you would find value in us hosting a public Q&A so that you can have your questions answered by the Senior Management Team, please let us know on the survey.
The Department also hosted its first games night since Acer and I took office during June. A few members of the Department played Grand Theft Auto Online together and had a blast. Unfortunately, the turnout for this session was not great, however fun was still had. Mallard will be hosting another games night at 2pm (BST) on Saturday the 9th of July where we will all be playing Team Fortress 2. Acer and I will likely be attending this and would love to see more of you joining and having a laugh. Details about this have been posted in a separate announcement, and we will be talking over voice chat on the PERPHeads Discord server.
Overall, the month of June has yet again been another great month for the Department and all of our officers. Acer and I continue to be proud of all the work that everyone puts in every day, and will continue to be grateful for the countless hours everyone contributes. As always, our inboxes are always open, and we can be reached through the helpdesk, Steam or a private message.”
