Preface
Welcome to the June 2024 edition of the Monthly Roundup. This newsletter is designed to keep our employees and the public updated with any changes in the city or department. Attached to the newsletter will be a message from the office of the Chiefs of Department, awards, key moments and careers. Any additions to the newsletter please contact Human Resources via helpdesk.
Message from the Chief
June has seen plenty of exciting events and announcements as the department continues to grow. This month has seen several officers successfully go through the new Sergeant process – congratulations to everyone who has been promoted. We also have a number of new command team members – welcome Murlon and Scrabuz to the Patrol command team!This month also saw the return of the PLPD community game night, with HR command hosting a very successful evening of GMod minigames. This coming Saturday will bring an Among Us game night. Sign up to the event on the PerpHeads Discord server! Patrol command have also announced the return of the classic #BlueLightAware to increase enforcement of law 12.7 Emergency Vehicles. Make sure to check out the announcement for more details.
