MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF
September has been a busy month for the Department, and I'm happy to announce that we are moving forward in the right direction. Firstly, we have now filled the majority of the command positions which were available and we have created a diverse workforce. I'm happy with all the individuals selected and I wish them all good luck in their new positions!
Moving on, development for the Tactical Firearms Unit has been moving in full force and we hope to have this update released shortly! I understand that some of you are frustrated however, without spoiling anything, this process will be significantly easier than the past one and will allow for a more phased entry into the division.
Lastly, we have just released the Employee Satisfaction Survey for the third quarter of this year and I urge you all to fill it out please! The support so far has been amazing however, we want to know what your opinions are on the individual divisions and how we can improve. We've now removed the majority of the written answers so it won't take long!
Again, thank you all for the support and October is looking to be a great month with many new features!

Officer of the Month - September 2024
Awarded to: Liam Wainwright 5568 (SadBoy)
"The Office of Operations Services would like to award Liam with the Officer of the Month Award for the month of September. Liam was nominated by several high ranked colleagues for this award for a variety of reasons. He has consistently performed to high standards, making sure to display his professionalism in policing whilst being extremely approachable at the same time. Additionally, Liam took initiative in running surveys for RTU regarding their ongoing campaign and collecting data pertaining to the publics knowledge of the law. It is extremely refreshing to see this level of initiative from an officer who hasn't been in the community for all too long - I hope to see this continue with your recent promotion to Sergeant. "
- Major Damon Creed, 30/09/24
Police Distinguished Service
Awarded to: Jeremiah Mohammad 9267 (sidd)
"It is with great pleasure to award Sidd with the Police Distinguished Service Award on behalf of the Office of Operation Services & the Chiefs. Sidds tenure within RTU spanned across several years as he rose through the ranks to eventually become Head of RTU. I have had the pleasure of working with Sidd several years ago within the same command team and since he has taken the mantle the division was not only run smoothly, but it also thrived with several positive changes. With his unfortunate departure, we hope that this award will give him the deserved recognition for his service to the division & rest of the PD. Your work has certainly been impactful and we would like to thank you & wish you luck in your future endeavors."
- Major Damon Creed, 09/17/24
Police Distinguished Service
Awarded to: Staff Sergeant Jack Locks 5171 (Locksmith)
"Staff Sergeant Locksmith has been a devout member of Traffic Command for over 5 months now, having been appointed to the role of Road Traffic Trainer over a year ago. He has remained consistently dedicated to his roles within our division and maintained a professional and mature attitude every time he engages with his administrative duties. I am incredibly proud of how far Staff Sergeant Locksmith has come and it has been wonderful to see him grow into this role as I am sure he will continue to do as he progresses further within the Paralake Police Department."
- Captain Jacob Blooregard, 09/23/24
Police Distinguished Service
Awarded to: Sergeant Jodie Pineapple 6153 (Juju)
"Sergeant Jodie has been a Road Traffic Trainer for nearly a year now and in this time has never compromised his devotion nor his charisma. Sergeant Jodie has come incredibly far in this role and it has been our pleasure as Traffic Command to watch him develop his skills to now become one of our most experienced Traffic Trainers. His dedication to this role has been nothing short of amazing and we are incredibly grateful."
