Suggestion Title: New Jail system idea
Suggestion Description: A new jail system that punishes the player more by instead of just putting you in a cell, bans you for the time that you were sentenced

Why should this be added?:
- It should be added because the current system isnt enough of a punishment for breaking the law ingame and with this would make it more of a punishment

What negatives could this have?:
- I dont see any way that this could be negative, its incentives are that breaking the law has consequences

What problem would this suggestion solve?: It would reduce the amount of criminal activitiy on the server and in the same way make people do better decisions based on the new jail system

what the heli is this suggestion, it would make PD raids useless, and the prison cells would be unused. Cant see this suggestion actually working out without the playerbase quitting.
U drift across the street - cop decided to arrest u, u go to prison - server goes 128/128 players, u then fight another 20 minutes for a slot.

A better prison rework would be letting people actually walk around and do some mild roleplay when in prison (which would require a rewaork of the prison block, has been suggested before and will probably never hapopen)

that^ is a much better idea, cuz currently ur locked in a cell with nothing to do for the next (max) 10 minutes, quite boring.
But banning people temporarily because they commited a crime is some rust PVE idea.

all it does is spicing it up a bit, the police would feel more rewarded to know they just banned someone for 10 minutes, and especially good if they got banned for 10 minutes and have to sit in queue aswell

Jail should not just be waiting in a box for 10 minutes and make it so you can roam about and actually move about in a prison area and interact with people, sure it's supposed to be a punishment but it's also a roleplay server, there needs to be interactivity and this is where it strongly lacks anything unless the PD is being raided. I doubt they'll touch anything core gamemode related to this probably because it's not worth the dev's time or suits their envision but just to make the slightest of changes of making the prison system a bit more meaningful and open is all that's being asked.

Being banned as a punishment for in-game laws will never happen, you can drop that vision

yeah looks like a ragebait suggestion in my opinion, honestly reminds me of dead unturned servers / PVE RP rust servers...
terrible idea, hopefully it gets denied as it brings no benefit yet will make people waste time. - Also, properties - how are people gonna get banned and not lose the properties, spawned cars, props, planters?

I can't tell if this post was made as a joke

I'd rather have a jail system that requires you to do certain tasks while waiting your time out like on those crappy fivem servers
