Description of the idea:
Adding the meat cleaver from no more room in hell to PERP as a weapon.
The meat cleaver should function as a slashing weapon similar to the katana. It should do medium damage with a faster attack speed than a katana. It should do high bleeding damage too.
The model for the weapon can be taken from the popular, free to play source game No More Room in Hell. This would make sense, as many other models used on perp were taken from that game, such as the baseball bat, the (old) fire extinguisher, the wrench, the fire axe, etc.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- Realistic addition to the weapons roster
- More melees, which is needed as melee weapons right now aren’t a very big category.
- Could be used for decoration and RP for chefs, who will no longer need to use combat / offensive oriented weapons as chef knives in their restaurants.
- Another item for new players to craft to gain firearms levels.
What negatives could this have? (cons):
- dev work needed
- Could just be another meme weapon.
