No gunshot sounds

I can hear any gunshots while playing. It was fine before PH and my GMod updated, after that I cant hear my FA:S, M9K and PH gunshot sounds. I have been told to go to my game directory and delete the game_sound_manifest.txt text file in my scripts folder. And so I have. I revalidated my game cache but to no help, can anyone help me please?

Its already been mentioned here.
There's not a lot in there, but take a look and see if anything helps. I have the same problem and still haven't been able to fix it yet

It happend to everyone that it was fine for, and fixed whoever had that problem such as me.
