Raiding, Bank Robberies, illegal drugs and the worst of all, Tax Fraud. All of these things illegal Organizations or "gangs" in paralake do. Why dont PLPD have boots on the ground and in the trenches trying to disrupt those activities. This is where the OCSTF comes in their sole job other than patrolling the streets is to gather intelligence on these orgs things such as, rank structure, members, colors, activities, how they make their money, and finally disrupt their activities to eventually cause the org to disband. Keeping Citizens safe! The task force will mainly do this by proactive police work found within the laws of paralake, have a zero tolerance on illegal gun transportation, actively search for wanted murder and bank robbery suspects and working hand and hand with tfu member to raid properties with proper evidence. equipment they would need mostly is armor, pistols, assault rifles "only for raid purposes" and unmarked vehicles. these can all be done while doing normal day to day activities of patrol officer and be recommended that officer hold the rank of senior officer and above as they would need to have proper knowledge of laws and plpd policies. I fell the best way to get to criminals is through their pockets. so lets make them lighter. Thank you for taking your time in reading this and i hope you take this suggestion into consideration.

Unfortunately this just seems like a merger between officers using uncover vehicles and TFU.

I don't think this would be able to gain the footing to have an additional command team, policies, and reverting to older TFU that could effectively patrol and investigate with heavy gear.

to my understanding tfu is mainly to respond to issues that deal with heavy gun fire like raids and bank robberies simular to SWAT.. This division is to mainly gather information of illegal orgs and their activates to pass along to other divisions such as TFU. in other words TFU is the gun, The OCSTF is the gun sights and the map

Fair, but also not saying this would take some to build up. Also not asking TFU to Start investigation if thats not what they want to do. I feel there can be more to police work than just, Raids, Black screens, if we could stop it before the raids happen

It's also TFU's responsibility to serve search warrants, either for narcotics or wanted suspects. this can include investigating to procure evidence. if you would want to roleplay as this then no one is going to stop you (provided you do carry out other duties) but I don't think this would have enough support to become an official division as that requires a lot of work

I get that, but... TFU well.. ive seen them to busy with raids and bank robberies to be able to investigate.

You are more than welcome to investigate as an officer, just obviously don't start unlawfully searching people/properties, when you have evidence just flag down a TFO or preferably a supervisor

Yeah dude good luck with that when half the TFU perma main the role and just jump from shootout to shootout without engaging in any of the roleplay that makes being a police officer unique

Also feel like they are restricted by policy to a degree when it comes to unmarked vehicle usage. I do truly believe TFU should be allowed to do stakeouts in unmarked units. Departments IRL do this with their swat teams. I think this suggestion would fit better for a detective role which I really would love to see someday for the department

Yeah it's very much the pvp division with very little room for any interesting roleplay past aids hostage sits that never lead to anything except salt

Good luck good portion of the community is against PD being somewhat enjoyable and having RP. I think this is a good suggestion though.
