Suggestion Title: Prestige System (Account Wipe)
Suggestion Description: Before reading, this is crazy for a server like this but let me cook

Add a system in which you can Prestige, resetting your account with some exceptions to be discussed here. This will give players a new reason to grind and reset with rewards when they become 'too rich' to be doing what they enjoy, which is basing / growing / raiding. It could also apply for the more passive players that go on jobs or just roleplay due to the rewards listed below but as criminal rp is the most profitable, it mostly applies for them.
Right now people just get rich, gamble, repeat.

Everything that gets wiped:
  • Money
  • Genes
  • Storage
  • Cars (Perhaps allowed to take only one car with you that you will get with a stock tune??, Staff cars will always stay)
  • Any levels that are not related to jobs (Example, Firearms would go but your EMS xp will stay)
Important things to mention that will stay:
  • Any clothing
  • Any images you have uploaded
  • Organisation membership and xp if you are the owner
  • Premium
  • Your name, custom license plates, custom reticles etc.
  • Any rank on any job
  • Any seasonal items (Could be controversial due to them being worth money but they have a market value so resetting them will make them insanely expensive)
Suggested rewards:
  • One (or two?) extra gene point(s) which you will get as soon as you reset, no need to buy it. You spawn with the extra point.
  • Unique clothing per prestige rank that is added (discuss how many below).
  • Untradable items that you can place down to flex you are prestiged
  • Silly vanity stuff like a 24k gold phone skin that is not client sided
  • New car?? (or decoration for the car?)
  • More daily free spins per prestige??
  • More xp for job

So much more could be named but I will let anyone that wants this discuss that.
To make it interesting you could go the extra mile and create a story around it with things you must do before prestiging, things like 'Obtain a million dollars', 'Have 10000 of any drug kind in your storage', 'Have sold 500 weapons', you could go on and on about this as well. Just make it force you to play all the server has to offer.

Fixes for the 'loophole' problem.
  1. @Mage - You need to incentivise players to not want to hold their inventory/money. So when they prestige liquidate their storage and money into player-bound prestige tokens that can be spent on unique prestige shop items.
    • Make the silly vanity items obtainable through said tokens
    • Other rewards like clothing, badges, or furniture could also be in said shop.

Why should this be added?:
- Gives being rich another purpose, money sink essentially.
- Keeps a large group of players engaged, making them want to play more
- Fun new system to play around with

What negatives could this have?:
- People start powergrowing constantly and don't interact with players outside their base anymore, which is already happening
- Could increase raid activity drastically due to people wanting to make money, same could be said for jobs though
- A lot of work for the developers if done all the way

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Becoming too rich to still be interested in your style of play and it adds a lot of new grinds causing players to play more, if they wish. It is not mandatory.

Jobs Prestige = yes yes, maybe more cash, maybe a personalisation option, maybe hat or stripes or colour change or badge change (thinking of jobs) Similar to my suggestion about roadcrew uniforms many moons ago that got implemented. Slight changes for other jobs with prestige.

Or fr just money increase per level = nice = Prestige 5 gets another truck or access to a car for a specific job.

I think it should be prestige per section not an OVERALL wipe...

The core idea behind a prestige system is that it comes with an actual cost. The tradeoff is meant to be clear: you gain long-term perks, but you give up the items, money, and progression you’ve accumulated. If players have any reliable way to preserve their assets before prestiging, that tradeoff disappears entirely

As blobvis pointed out, nothing currently stops someone from transferring their inventory, cash, or materials to another player/storage. If that loophole exists, prestiging becomes a free reward toggle rather than an impactful decision.

The intended reset would never actually happen, while the player still collects all the benefits tied to the prestiging

While I think this is a cool concept, I do not think its doable

take a page out of Arc Raiders' book and require players to give up their items to an NPC to build towards a prestige.

In Arc Raiders, it's called an Expedition. There's 6 phases, each phase requires you to donate items without any way of getting them back. Once you give all the items required, you have to wait until an Expedition Window. When the Window is active, you can complete your expedition and your character is wiped.

Regardless of this expedition mechanic, nothing stops you from giving items to your friends in Arc Raiders. However, items in that game are not so rare and hard to get as they are in PERPHeads.

I propose that player-to-player transactions during a PERPHeads Prestige period (like the lead up to the actual prestige) be disabled or flagged by the server. Allow players to pick guns up from dead players, but disable any other player-to-player transactions for items like drugs, firearms, ammunition, and valuable items (which should be transferred anyways). Disabling it is more elegant, because no one wants to comb through logs for players giving items to each other. I hated doing this when I was staff. This may seem like a super harsh thing to do, but this is probably the only way you can solve this issue without causing staff major headaches.

Another solution could be not allowing players who have prestiged to pick up items from players for a certain amount of time. You could also keep track of whether the item originated from them, and if so, then don't allow them to pick it up ever again.
