Suggestion Title: Property Utility - Functional Stoves
Suggestion Description: Replace the stoves inside the properties that come with a stove to the entity when bought. This will stop the lag increase due to them only becoming entities upon purchase and allow for more reasons to purchase a property rather than drug growing with more incentive for passive due to the easier method of getting a stove so people can cook more!

Assuming the presence of functional stoves may pose a threat of lagging the server
the solution I propose is to allow players to add-on the stove purchase an optional part of the home at bank. Players can later also upgrade their home or downgrade their home to toggle the functionality of the stove.

Why should this be added?:
- More Passive RP
- Useful additon for everybody
- Seems quite simple
- Adds more reason for people to base besides drugs
- Balanced idea that doesn't take away from normal stoves, but adds to them making them turn into a way for players to BBQ instead of the only way to cook.
-Immersion

What negatives could this have?:
- If people buy a property and never use it, they may lag the server more because of the existing stove entity in their base.
- the bases which have this function intended for passive rpers who would actually use it may conflict with orgs who just care for growing drugs or raiding

What problem would this suggestion solve?: Stoves don't work

Functional Stoves... you can use functional stoves anywhere on the map (within reason), just go buy one... stating about adding an entity only when the property is purchased is a bit silly your just adding more load onto the server for nothing. Those who want to cook.... just buy a stove from the shop and place it down.... your wanting to add a feature that's more or less already a thing.

Similar is a big stretch. That a ton of other things with the mention of this idea.

Convenient how that is the comparison drawn, not this

Or the reply by peeps saying the stove may work

Criticizing that it “adds load,” while admitting there are spawnable entities is contradictory. With the option to add-on the stove as a utility alongside the property purchase, that problem is remedied.

Makes no sense why critics of this post probably complain about the lack of passive RP and the excess of shootouts then turn down ideas that advocate for passivity by making life easier for those kind of roleplayers

Bottom line is this suggestion is intended as a QoL and a convenience for passive role players.

contradictory? I'm not sure you understand the term. your wanting to add an entity to EVERY property in the game by default which adds load onto the server, that's over 20 property's.... if jim bob wants to cook with a STOVE he can create more RP by using his phone. ordering one. waiting a realistic time and someone can deliver it, in term creating more work and more rp....

not sure what your on about when it comes to complaints, your suggestion doesn't add RP it removes it..... not sure where my magic complaining of excess of shootouts is.
I think your loosing the point of logic .

Why should this be added?:
1- More Passive RP (its the opposite since your removing the point of one of the jobs/entities that already exist)
2- Useful addition for everybody (don't see a practical use for adding this, people can create more rp by adding stoves and using the courier job)
3- Seems quite simple (THIS IS TRUE but creates more entity load)
4- Adds more reason for people to base besides drugs (you can do this anyways lol the stoves dont add anything since you can manually add a stove)
5- Balanced idea that doesn't take away from normal stoves, but adds to them making them turn into a way for players to BBQ instead of the only way to cook.
6-Immersion (erm yh this ones true)

Wood cabins doesn't have a steady gas flow. Slums is run down and leaks gas.
Lore wise explanation and too much effort to do this.

the entity does not spawn until the option to add-on the utility is selected. The server is not impacted in performance this way.

there needs to be a balance. Too much effort has diminishing returns, while not enough lacks engagement. This convenience provides that healthy middle ground for those who prefer it and that is okay.

No fruit in addressing the later deflections and ad Homs, but I do want to emphasize that I did not originally imagine every property having this feature. Mainly the suburbs which come with a stove that takes up space and lacks function.

Realism has never been a real obstacle that cancels out the benefits of an idea alone. It can be sacrificed if the pros outweigh it.

I think it’s important to reconsider approaching my replies with what feels to me like enmity. Credibility and integrity in this discussion should be maintained, even if it is merely a suggestion thread.

The amount of things you can do with a stove are too little to justify this addition. If cooking did more in general then I'd see this being a decent addition, but as it stands, this is a suggestion made because a better suggestion wasn't thought of at the time of writing
