Main idea: Temporarily remove the rank of Enforcer

Description: The rank of Enforcer currently is limiting the staff in its abilities to keep up with the constant demand of reports both in-game and on the forums (evidence here) - I'd propose that the current Enforcers are promoted to Moderator effective immediately and that the training process changes until the staff team is in a better state. Administrators can overwatch them and run through all necessary training procedures and let these newly found moderators into the wild.

Forum training would take 30 minutes, conduct and other policies I am sure are written down (?) and taking sits can be done within an evening. No need for each enforcer to be an enforcer for 3-5 days at a time.

Pros:
  • More staff to handle reports
  • Player base will be happier
  • Hopefully, it will increase the player count as new players will be satisfied with their experience and old players will stop complaining.

Cons:
  • A slight drop in standards, although we are past that point. :zing:

according to Madda the community has a huge say in who brings a high standard to the staff team, so that would mean they lost quite a bit of people who would raise the standard

having extremely high standards and nitpicking with your staff members is good and all until your community is going down the shitter and you've not adapted in the slightest

this change isn't really a choice at this stage, more of a necessity

they should make it so no enforcer rank, currents enforcer of this idea getting suggested goes to Mod. Add in new requirement saying they need to get so many recommendations.

Agreed, This is a community that generally thinks driving an RC truck into other players and vehicles for no real reason is still comedy gold, we really can’t nitpick a community like this anymore and it shows.

agree with what @BigBenji said, it should of been changed a long time ago

The requirements should definitely be lowered, the length of time you have to wait for a ban is counter productive.
Although it would seem like a good idea to remove Enforcer, I'm not sure people with no staffing experience before could benefit from this as they do need the training and it would suck for them to get instantly demoted because of a couple of bad bans.
Someone like @Kenty however should already be moderator, mans been trained before guys

I think the solution would be to lower the standard needed for enforcers. 3 months for a forum ban or server ban is way too long imo to just apply, needs to be more case by case. Ofc being toxic ect is not ok, but staff get away with it after successful applications like ex staff have already said. Getting forum banned for calling someone a virgin ect doesn't mean you wouldn't be a good staff member.
