Suggestion Title: Reworking drugs: Bringing back “gram bags”
Suggestion Description: Change how drugs currently work.
Currently, 1 unit of cocaine worth 150 dollars is a whole brick. For drug dealing rp this looks very out of place, and it also removes discretion.
The old drug bag models were discreet enough to be dropped and picked up without rousing much attention.
The idea here is to change how drugs are presented, and how the bricks work.
The idea is:
- Make a single unit of a drug type be displayed as a bag.
- Keep the model for bricks and allow users to craft bags into bricks.
- The bricks will be given their own separate category in the inventory which will allow drugs to be carried as bricks and sold for convenience.
The bricks of drugs should:
- Be crafted with 100 of that drug.
- Be put into a new inventory category called “Drug Packages” which will be limited to 5.
- The bricks can be then clicked on to give you 100 of that drug in the form of usable bags.
- Not be stackable in trunks (the same way 100 drugs is the limit, this wouldn’t change anything)
The drug dealer should only accept bricks of drugs (except mushrooms which are not bulk stored) and each brick will fetch the equivalent of 100 of the drug sold. Example, 1 weed brick would be worth 15000.
This would also as a negative (or simply a shift in the meta if you’re optimistic about drugs being nerfed) mean that users would have leftover drugs in their storage that they cannot make into bricks. I think this is a pro however as it could then be sold to other players looking to build bricks, or encourage users to buy more to get a brick of the drug they wish to sell.
This would not really speed up the process at the drug dealer in any way however, due to these items being stacks of 100 drugs and trunks only allowing drugs in stacks of 100, and being limited to 5 blocks in the inventory the same way drugs are limited to 500. The only real game changing feature that makes this easier would be mushrooms could be carried alongside 5 bricks of a drug to sell.
Why should this be added?:
- Realistically proportioned drugs.
- Drug dealing rp being more accurate, and a lot more discreet.
- The old drug models still exist in the content packs.
- The leftover drugs in peoples inventories could encourage more player on player dealing.
What negatives could this have?:
- might be complex for some
- Could allow users to sell 500 mushrooms alongside 500 coke in a single trip.
- Meth bag will need modelling.
