Event Name:
Riot
Location of Event:
City or business sector.
Description of Event:
The event should be scripted, and a teleport to the riot location will start the event. Players will be split into 2 teams, 3/4 of them will be rioters and 1/4 of them will be riot police.
Upon the riot event beginning, The players partaking in the riot as rioters will have the following new abilities and items:
- 3 glass bottles
- The ability to damage cars by standing on them and jumping (Feature already exists for zombie players during the zombie event)
- 10 stimpacks
- 3 crowbars (For uncuffing people).
Riot officers
- Officers will become flameproof the same way firemen are.
- All partaking officers will acquire a gas mask model, a PLPD Hat, and a TFU heavy gear torso.
- They will acquire the following equipment:
- 2 flashbangs
- Nightstick
- Taser
- Fire extinguisher
- Hand cuffs
- Medical equipment
The gameplay will work as such:
- Government vehicles will spawn in the area of the riot, such as fire engines, medic cars, police cruisers, etc.
- The rioting team must cause as much damage as possible by attacking government vehicles with molotovs, bottles, etc. Until they are engulfed in flames and explode.
- Glass bottles, Fireworks, Molotovs, snow balls, flash bangs, practice grenades and other thrown items will spawn at random in the event area.
- The Police team must arrest rioters and take them out of the riot area. Upon successfully arresting a rioter, the rioter will respawn as a police officer.
- The police officers must defend the government property.
The event will continue until all rioters have been arrested (police win), or until all government vehicles are destroyed. (Rioter win).
Why should this event be added?:
- RiotRP in the form of a scripted gameplay event (no reports)
- Removes firearms forcing the police to deal with an extreme situation without just gunning people down like most riots end up.
- Good fun event.
- Riots are rarely player hosted anymore due to the cost and time of acquiring items and the legal implications of being punished money wise.
