Suggestion Topic: 4.8 Taxi Driver and Courier
Suggestion Description: The rule is 4.6 now, not 4.8. Will fix title in a jiffy.
Seeing as Taxi Driver and Courier are two jobs that both require the use of a vehicle I believe it would also make sense if these employees have to stick to section 12 of the penal code.
While driving without headlights should not lead to an instant warning or ban we can more safely punish people who break more major laws such as 12.2 and 12.12 that put other people at risk as they're new and don't understand the rules or laws. Perhaps we could restrict it to these laws instead of just mentioning the entire section 12 of the penal code.
Another wording in the rule that technically already covers this is "you must always do your job to the best of your ability" but I believe this leaves it rather vague as this could mean anything, everything from actually doing your job or the best to your ability as not to get arrested.
I believe this is also technically already covered by law 6.5 if you refuse to comply to lawful orders given from a LEO to drive properly which is covered by rule 4.6 telling you to follow section 6 of the penal code.
Side note: I've never seen couriers/taxi's with restricted substances. Can they even pick up illegal items while on the job? Section 8
Why should this be added?:
-Two car focused jobs stay more in line which should promote more careful driving for anyone taking these jobs.
What negatives could this have?:
-People who break section 12 (or parts) of the penal code are more liable to getting punished for breaking the server rules instead of promoting roleplay between Police and disputes between civilians.
