[SOLVED] Changing the way inventory works

Hey !

I'd like my inventory to work this way...

Basically, I want to be able to pick in my inventory what I wanna hold out instead of directly holding it out. That's the way I have it now.

It's very hard for me to explain what I want, but basically I have my fists out, and in order to get my keys I have to roll my mouse wheel. However, this may cause problems when in my inventory, my gun is between the fists out and the keys out, so I basically have to show my gun in order for me to get my keys...

I want it to be like in the picture above!

This is an option in Garry's mod and should be found somewhere within the options in the menu.

Here's how to change it from that:

Go to the main menu

Hit "Options"

Choose "Advanced..."

Untick "Fast weapon switch"

This will allow you to do in the image as you've shown.
