What rule do you wish to Edit/Add: A forum rule that outlaws the release of spoilers regarding a series of films/shows

Your version of the rule:
Until a suitable amount of time has passed, no user may release any spoilers regarding any storyline, this includes all forms of media.

Why do you believe this rule should be Added/Edited:
Spoiling shit is a massive dick move and can cause a lot of distress, users should be aware that even slip ups can't really be tolerated and can lead to forum bans as they have proven they aren't capable of interacting with the community via the forums in a respectful manner

Well, I believe it could be considered causing problems in some cases yet a fair bit of the time you might be having a civilised discussion with a friend about in in sb

People have been banned for this in cases where they have inentionally been talking of spoilers not long after an episode/film/etc., although mentioning a spoiler without a second thought has not really been considered an infringement of 1.4. This could of course be specified, but isn't really much of an issue apart from at certain times, as people should be able to talk about such stuff freely. If this were to be implemented, it should be around a week and have some leniency to it unless intentional.

A large spoiler was posted in the shoutbox some days ago regarding GoT S7EP6
