Not sure where else to put this, guess I'll do it here. This suggestion is for this part of the forums https://perpheads.com/forums/support.122/
Description of the idea: Make it necessary for users to include a solution to their problem before locking and moving their thread to the archive. This way you'd avoid having the same thread being posted if a solution is present. If you Google'd a problem and stumbled upon a answer from some abandoned forum from 2008 with the OP's last response being "solved, lock pls" you'd understand.
Why should this be added? (pros): Less threads of the same problem, no feeling of loneliness when someone else who has the same problem solved it but you don't, useful information for troubleshooting.
What negatives could this have? (cons): putting in effort which seems to be a widespread problem to some users even with clear guidance.
