Suggestion Title: Taxation ideas
Suggestion Description: Allow the government to get money from tickets into the city budget. 80% goes to the city while the rest goes to the officers

Why should this be added?:
- It adds more options to finance the city budget other than taxes
-Allows more reasons to hate the government in character
-Incentivizes more use of the tickets creating more RP and grievances.

What negatives could this have?:
- Could be heavily abused for financial gain
- Maybe not as effective as other means of taxation

Maybe but where does the money go exactly? And IMO it should be an IC thing depending on how asshole-ish the mayor is. It would create more roleplay situations negative maybe but governments can be corrupt

The money is attributed to the city budget in its entirety.

Officers receive confiscation money, which is roughly 10% of the item's value, which is then divided amongst all on-duty officers.

Also, the police and general government here is not allowed to be corrupt, so your whole idea around it is more or less invalid.

Can't wait for my 5000 dollar ticket spam from RTU. Like aquaa said if this was the case every petty police officer would spam tickets. Not a good idea lol

I don't see as a bad idea considering this happens also in IRL. Police in Vienna gets small percentage of the money from tickets they give out and the rest goes to the city funds. We also gain money from confiscating weapons and other illegal items so i don't see issue with issuing fines.

A questione which pops up time to time is what exactly does the city invest in ? I read some made up excuses about eco-friendliy efforts or massive collisions

The city gains 100% of money from tickets.
The city also takes a cut of confiscation money.

This doesn't need to change.
