Thoughts on The Boys Finale (Spoilers)

Personally i think it was a good ending for the characters, but i personally think they could’ve done more with the storyline being where Homelander goes berserk and starts fucking shit up and the military throw everything at him, and have a more horror out of control thing going on for Homelander, yes in the Final Series he does lose it and even tell the world the non believers are going to die, but the season 5 poster literally shows the world getting fucked up by homelander while he’s literally in space.

Still was a good episode though. Would love to hear other peoples opinions about it.

It was okay but of course there are some loose ends here and there. I actually would have gone along with Butcher's genocide plan at Vought tower because fuck em all

Homelander can also go to space in 2 seconds and be back within that time but I guess he just can't escape the boys because yeah fuck it I guess.

Also, Soldier Boy is in cryo sleep again for god knows how long, we just forgot about him I guess so that's cool.

A gazillion plot holes what happens to spinoffs like genz, also lackluster ending for soldier boy same for a trains family cause he like died and like a million more plot holes

I love the show, but the ending was ass... The fight was terrible. They made a spin off to hype up a character to kill Homelander, and she didn’t even go to the fight. Butcher and Ryan could hold Homelander, but Soldier Boy, Billy, and Hughie on V couldn’t? Homelander cut Kimiko with his lasers a few episodes ago, but in the finale he suddenly couldn’t? He flew someone to space and back within 2.5 seconds, but couldn’t fly out of a room? The power scaling was bad. Homelander dying and acting the way he did was good it showed how pathetic he really was.

The whole season was building up to a massive fight, posting scenes with 50 people flying above the White House, a burning Vought Tower, and a nuke going off with Homelander looking down at the Earth. Legit none of that happened just a fight in a single room...

The only characters who got a good ending were Butcher and Hughie. deeps wasnt bad either

Elite summary plus there was too much odd scenes just there with no actual contextual background. Its lowkey just a slop season lol

Pretty clear Kripke had no idea what to do with how many deaths there were so quickly. A pretty unsatisfying ending, especially when promotional material hinted at Homelander actually going scorched earth
