V5 way more fun and competitive than v6

At v6 bank you just need to hold 3 doors and you win the bank as cop
And the meta of winning classic Paralake bank robberies being to turn the whole area where people both need to buy things and get their car into a free for all warzone shooting people for looking in the general direction of the bank instead of waiting their turn to be able to do anything was any better? This is a pretty egregious oversimplification of how v6 bank robberies play out. I’ve watched people who aren’t particularly known for skill solo this robbery system against 8 + cops successfully. This was a once in a lifetime occurrence on prior versions of Paralake.

The pre vault room was paper thin and could be wallbanged by a pistol, the whole properties main area had exposed windows with just a counter for cover and the most secure position inside the property you could reasonably hold and probably not die unpredictably was the foreman’s office, which could be wallbanged and was easy to corner suspects inside of. The meta for winning bank became to not actually step foot inside and hold it from the outside. You were raiding the whole city, not the bank. For anyone who doesnt know and wants to really throw a spanner into the works of bank robberies on V5 for this event, you can drive the new SWAT Van in and out of the bank effortlessly by driving into the window. It does not get stuck.

The new bank gives you multiple positions to dig in and hold. It gives you a sewer tunnel system that allows you to escape unnoticed or hold inside of if need be. This isn't just marginally better, its an enormous change, it addressed literally every single conceivable issue with bank robberies that made them an inaccessible activity for people who weren't PvPing every 10 minutes for the past few months, addressed the massive logistical error that made bank robberies an annoyance which substantially contributed to making PvPers one of the most despised demographics on the playerbase amongst other players who didn't care for it, and overall improved the experience of robbing the bank for anyone and everyone involved and uninvolved alike.

And, for the record, the bank robbery was designed with robbers in mind, not cops. Any V6 advantage cops hold, they held on V5, cops lost a big portion of their advantages, including a chunk of the ol' infamous "PD Zerg" numbers advantage because their angle of approach towards the area no longer makes a difference. No more picking long angles to approach and snipe robbers from, because theres one way for cops to get in and out. As one of the bank testers for V6 launch, when we were fine tuning the details of the bank robbery and how it'd play out, I came into the testing with years of feedback from myself and other players, as well as other issues. It was a much needed overhaul, and in my opinion, has opened up avenues of possibilities of encouraging more bank robberies in a shorter period of time just because of how well contained it is.
