PARALAKE POLICE DEPARTMENT
(VOTING OPEN) Chiefs of Department Awards 2021

Dear colleagues,

We want to thank all of those who submitted a nomination for themselves or their colleagues as per the original announcement which can be found here. We are now pleased to announce that the nominations have been collated and you can now vote for the award winners.

Submit your votes for the award categories using this Google Form, filling out your PLPD details at the beginning. You do not have to vote in every category if you do not want to, and those who were nominated are allowed to vote for themselves.

Based off of the nominations that were submitted, we have 5 nominees for each award category. A short write-up based off of the nominations has also been included to help you with your voting. Here is a reminder as to what the winners will be receiving and what the award categories were:

The Colleague of the Year and Supervisor of the Year will each receive $150,000 courtesy of the Chief of Department with the other categories attracting $100,000. Each winner will also receive an exclusive forum signature banner as well as an award for their PLPD.online profile.

You can participate in the voting phase until 23:30 GMT on Friday 11th February 2022 where the results will then be collated and announced.

There are 7 awards to be won. They are listed below:
  • Colleague of the Year
  • Supervisor of the Year
  • Everyday Hero Award
  • Innovation Award
  • Inspirational Leadership Award
  • Evidence and Policymaking Award
  • Just Culture Award
The Chiefs of Department reserve the right to strike off any votes where participants are suspected of lobbying for people to vote for them them or engage in dishonest behaviour and/or behaviour that is not in the spirit of the awards.
