Your Steam Name: Bims
Your Roleplay Name: Bims Santana
Your SteamID: STEAM_0:0:404946433

Why were you punished?: Rule 3.4

Why should this appeal be considered?: I was issued a warning for breaking rule 3.4 for not leaving my property after a police raid. The whole problem with the police raid was, that it started over a police officer who entered the property without any reason or nothing. I naturally did not excpect a cop to be inside my base without any reason nor warning about his entering. So of course I pulled out my gun out of reflex. When I went to call a admin case, I was told I should go to IA and make a complaint about him. So therefore I feel like the raid was a failraid - which should not have happened. So maybe we could take a look again over the situation. I failed to mention this fact to Bean Can, so I have no complaints about him or his work. I hope not to cause any harm by making this appeal. Carl Smart (STEAM_0:1:237211284) was also punished by this offense.

Additional Information: Thanks for reading. Again I understand why the punishment was given, but I feel like since the raid was kinda on this weird circumstances, it should be reconsidered. I understand if you do not agree.

Hello,

I made the report that lead to these two warnings. The raid was started because Jack Marly had reported murder suspects inside 203. I cannot recall the exact reason for the murder callout, but I placed a search warrant on the property because of Marly’s information. The officer would’ve entered the property under those pretences.

I believe I may have a shadow play of this that shows Jack reporting it over radio multiple times.

If what Joey says is true (and can document it), then I totally get why there would be a police officer at the property and would like to take back my warning dispute and thank everyone for their time.

From what I can see, 2 players died shortly before police showed up. So it kind of makes sense that police would respond.

Regardless of the reason police was there though; if you believe a raid is false, you still have to abide by the server rules yourself. A police officer died, so the location immediately becomes a priority for the rest of the department, and it's basically guaranteed to be swarmed and raided by them (especially because they don't know what happened, they are just responding to the officer's life alert).

You should still file an Internal Affairs complaint if you believe police misconduct has occurred, and this will be investigated and handled by IA.

Al right, thanks Viper for looking into it.
Have a good evening
Best regards,
